Afternoon in Odawara. by *koony is a simple, loose composition whose supersaturated spot colors add a vibrance to what appears like the storyboard panel to the end of a dramatic film. ( Suggested by archaenon and Featured by zeruch )

Whoa, I bought this print from you years ago. I just found the image in somebody's faves and realized that I lost the print and frame I had of this. I'm going to have to buy another.

Yeah this one has a very potent atmospheric quality. I love the sense of loneliness and maybe solitude that the man seems to feel.

Wow this is amazing. The contrast of those colours, the sketchiness, this is incredibly fascinating for me, and something out of my dreams. Stunning work.

This reminds me fo Kerouac\'s On the Road, somehow related to the narrator\'s errance in Louisiana. Maybe by its town atmosphere or its colours, reminding me of Mexico\'s chapters.

Good colouring anyway.

i really like how you played with the cone of vision choosing to distort the light poles so they seem organic and alive

i also enjoy the sort of sketchiness to the drawing

This reminds me of Edward Ardizzone's work a lot. I think it has to do with the way the paint isn't put on very exactly.

I love the way the lamp posts bend.

really nice! i've been drawing something with this kind of approach as well

loved the theme and the way you used the colors
the green-yellow-blue (brazil's flag's pallete) goes really well with the illustration

I never comment on artists work but your art has a very colourful "motion" feel to them, i really like it! I must ask are you an optimist or a pessimist?

i've browsed through your gallery, and i have to admit, this is one of my favorites out of them all.

your artwork is fantastic! it looks like the powerline polls are warped by heat or something.

this is a lot better than some of the stuff i now see in the "popular" bin. I applaud it :applaud:

Oh, this is lovely. The curves of the telephone poles give it a particularly nice kind of perspective, not literal so much as subjective... I like that.
