I know, I know, most of you prefer I use ink/watercolors and/or sceneries; but I still haven't gotten over acrylics just yet, so here's another one - it's Vincent Law from "Ergo Proxy", the freedom-fighter look I think.
(We are all freedom-fighters one way or the other in life, don't you think so?)
Anyway, "Ergo Proxy" is a futuristic anime with a philosophy flavour. Highly recommended.

Painted on Sep 2006, with acrylic on paper (full view for texture).
Doesn't look 100% like the original, but that's the point of individual fanart, not photocopy machine. ;P

Ergo Proxy is a nice show 'cause it gets you thinking, I'm glad you seem to like the series too! I think I'm painting the freedom fighter look here, where he has found himself; 'cause I try to keep things positive in this chaotic world. You take care :)

not familliar with the anime but it sounds really good.. might have to check it out myself!.. great textures and i totally agree :nod: we should all still keep our individuality and originality with fanarts.. copying would be just pointless.

You have a very unique style when it comes to acrylics. I think you should keep painting with them (in my opinion anyway). They seem very chaotic around the edges, but calm down at the face. I really enjoy them! :clap: And I too shall have to check out this Ergo Philosophy anime! :D
